Michelle St. Pierre has 20 years of fund raising experience in the non-profit arena serving as Director of Marketing with The Salvation Army Detroit and currently as Director of Marketing/Development with St Vincent de Paul Detroit (SVdP.) In addition, she serves on the National Development Committee of SVdP.

As a former broadcaster for ABC Radio/TV Networks in New York City, and a freelance writer for USA TODAY, she brings a unique media relations perspective, which helps her clients achieve their branding and fund raising goals. She has covered four Olympic games and worked with legendary sportscaster Howard Cosell.   Winner of the Michigan Association of Broadcasters Award for Excellence, Michelle produces an annual St. Vincent de Paul Telethon in Detroit. 

Her recent development campaigns have included work with Quicken Loans, the Home Shopping Network, the Detroit Tigers and local and national media.  She developed the popular Midwest wide Operation Coat Check, which combines direct mail, social media, corporate giving, and public relations to encourage community support of Vincent de Paul.
