Ryan Butts, CFRE

As Vice President for Institutional Advancement for the University of Saint Mary of the Lake/Mundelein Seminary, Ryan oversees all fundraising and marketing efforts for the largest Catholic graduate seminary in the United States. In addition, Ryan is a board member for the National Catholic Development Conference and a member of the Association of Fundraising Professionals.
Prior to his work with Mundelein Seminary, Ryan has a background in arts management, raising money, marketing and producing live theatre for companies such as Kansas City Repertory Theatre, Chicago Shakespeare Theater, The House Theatre of Chicago and the League of Chicago Theatres.
Ryan completed his CFRE certification in 2014 and was promoted to Vice President for Institutional Advancement in the summer of 2015. Ryan lives in Chicago with his wife, mezzo soprano Julia Elise Hardin.
